eufest announces line-up for 2011

Specialist festival travel company eufest has announced its calendar of festivals for 2011, taking in some of Europe’s biggest and best music festivals - and unveiled a new addition to its roster.

Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival is the latest to be added to eufest’s line-up, sitting alongside other European spectaculars such as Serbia’s legendary EXIT Festival, and Benicassim in Spain. Melt! in Germany, Bulgaria’s Spirit of Burgas festival and T-Mobile INmusic in Croatia complete the list for 2011, although the company has not ruled out the possibility of further festivals being added in the near future.

eufest has been providing tickets, airport transfers and accommodation for festivals across the continent since 2006. And as the official UK ticket outlet for many of the festivals they work with, has become a permanent fixture on the European festival scene.

In spite of the economic slowdown, the popularity of European festivals continues to rise, with punters seduced by the prospect of better weather, better line-ups and a cheaper overall festival experience in comparison to festivals in the UK – even when the cost of travel is included.

With the price of airport transfers starting at just £11 per person, it’s easy to see why the company continues to grow as thrifty festivalgoers look for a budget way of getting their festival fix. The company’s easy-to-use website makes the process of booking tickets, transport and accommodation a virtual walk in the park, and allows customers to manage their booking online in their own time.

“For many of our customers going to a festival is basically their summer holiday,” explains eufest's Anna-Maria O'Flynn. “But getting there can be difficult – especially if the nearest budget airport is hundreds of miles away. And getting home again after four days of non-stop partying is even harder.

“We just try to make the whole process a bit less painful, and we make sure our prices are no more expensive than whatever public transport might be available – but without all the waiting around and delays.”
